I LOST IT AT THIS PART.
HELP I think I might have a thing for sassy people.
OKAY TUMBLR THIS IS THE PART WHERE I ASK FOR SOME HELP!
Today at Stratford (London) I found this on the floor! It was on Platform 9/10 and I found it around 16:50 in the afternoon literally on the floor! I only picked it up because given our weather it didn’t stand much of a chance of survival there on the platform and I would have missed my train if I’d rushed it down to lost and found so I’m trying here!
It’s a Pokemon FireRed GBA cartridge, booting it up it seems to belong to a Mr Jay! Having lost my animal crossing gamecard after 6 years of play earlier this year I would hate to think of you losing however long you put into this game so I will send this to you but I’m gonna need to find you first!
I’m gonna need to know at least the level/breed of one pokemon on this game before I let you have it! I’m not giving this away to anyone! Losing games this old is always really sad. :(
My ask is open and it’s open to anons as well so if you guys could help me out by sig-boosting this I would be really grateful! The chances are slim but maybe we could help out an unhappy gamer! If I’d lost my LeafGreen I’d be devastated :(

This video and song mean a lot to me; in primary and secondary school, I was pushed very hard by my mother to always score high on tests. I would get in trouble if I brought in anything under a 90% (A- to you lot who use grading numbers)
It’s made me a perfectionist, but also a bit of a nervous wreck, to say the least. I know my mum meant well, but I’m only human. Luka’s basically me, honestly. I had my Miku moment in college when I realized I couldn’t score A’s all the time and to be happy with what I could do.
I’m still a perfectionist and I have a long way to go before I’m happy with a B, but, I’m still on the roof. So, thanks, Luka.

I try to keep REAL TALK off this blog, but…that’s pretty much why I find this song special too. Except I outright failed three semesters in a row of college because I just. Couldn’t. Take it anymore.
Kind of what happens when you have depression, haha.
Anyway, this song was actually what made me realize it wasn’t working, so I finally officially resigned. And…I’m glad I did. I may have languished for the next couple of years until I got help for my depression (and another medical issue)…but I’ve got a tour of my boyfriend’s cooking college set up on Tuesday. :D And that’d fit me better than a degree in art history, something I wasn’t REALLY interested in anyway.
So yeah. This song. <3 I’d like the message anyway, but it’s one of the few songs I have a specific reason to like.
